TackleAfrica are delighted to announce our Charity of the Year partnership with Sterling Security for 2012 and 2013. 

Steve Sidwell, David Stockdale, Mark Bright, Hans Segers and Neil Ruddock clubbed together at a celebrity golf day to support TackleAfrica. The event organised by Sterling Security and sponsored by Service and Trade raised £11,000 for the work of TackleAfrica.

Guests on the day had the opportunity to test their handicaps against the professional footballers and the excellent course at the Selsdon Park Hotel in Surrey. It was no surprise that Fulham FC players Steve Sidwell and David Stockdale ran out easy winners against Lee Marks, the founder of Sterling Security and TackleAfrica CEO Charlie Gamble. Dinner, a drinks reception and an auction in aid of TackleAfrica hosted by Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock followed the golf. Thanks go to the players, footballers Sterling Security and Service and Trade for making this first annual golf day possible.
