Front Door Locks

locks for front doors are approved to British Standard 3621 and marked with the British Standard kite mark, they reach the standards of the insurance industry (this could otherwise invalidate any insurance claim).

Security Window Locks

All windows should be fitted with window locks, any windows that are particularly vulnerable should be protected by grilles or external shutters.

Gates & Grilles

Collapsible gates can be hidden behind curtains when open. Patio doors and French doors should have at least two key-operated door locks, preferably at the top and bottom of the door

Locks for Garages and outbuildings

Garages and outbuildings should always be protected by suitable British Standard locks or padlocks; they often contain valuable equipment, which could be useful to a burglar. Garden tools for instance can be used to force open doors or windows.

TackleAfrica are delighted to announce our Charity of the Year partnership with Sterling Security for 2012 and 2013.

Steve Sidwell, David Stockdale, Mark Bright, Hans Segers and Neil Ruddock clubbed together at a celebrity golf day to support TackleAfrica. The event organised by Sterling Security and sponsored by Service and Trade raised £11,000 for the work of TackleAfrica.

Guests on the day had the opportunity to test their handicaps against the professional footballers and the excellent course at the Selsdon Park Hotel in Surrey. It was no surprise that Fulham FC players Steve Sidwell and David Stockdale ran out easy winners against Lee Marks, the founder of Sterling Security and TackleAfrica CEO Charlie Gamble. Dinner, a drinks reception and an auction in aid of TackleAfrica hosted by Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock followed the golf. Thanks go to the players, footballers Sterling Security and Service and Trade for making this first annual golf day possible.
